After they
walk out

They leave after a decent hour, and then for a day or three, sometimes a whole week, you have no idea whether they did the program or parked the printout on the kitchen counter.

That's the scene.

You find out next visit. Sometimes sooner, when the front desk picks up a call asking how to do that movement again.

Most EHRs spit a home program that reads like a claim form. They skip it. They come back deconditioned or they no-show, and you guess the next hour from memory.

The dark stretch is twenty-four to seventy-two hours after checkout. Put this clinic's program in language they can follow, with a receipt when they try, and you see that before they sit down again.

Change the plan. Call the surgeon if you have to.
